سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

Subḥānallāhi wa biḥamdih

Glory is to Allah and praise is to Him.

Morning

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ

Aṣbaḥnā wa aṣbaḥal-mulku lillāh, wal-ḥamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr. Rabbi asʾaluka khayra mā fī hādhal-yawmi wa khayra mā baʿdah, wa aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā fī hādhal-yawmi wa sharri mā baʿdah. Rabbi aʿūdhu bika minal-kasali wa sūʾil-kibar. Rabbi aʿūdhu bika min ʿadhābin fin-nāri wa ʿadhābin fil-qabr.

We have reached the morning and at this very time all sovereignty belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner — to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the infirmities of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.

Qul huwallāhu aḥad. Allāhuṣ-ṣamad. Lam yalid wa lam yūlad. Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad. Qul aʿūdhu birabbil-falaq. Min sharri mā khalaq. Wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab. Wa min sharrin-naffāthāti fil-ʿuqad. Wa min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad. Qul aʿūdhu birabbin-nās. Malikin-nās. Ilāhin-nās. Min sharril-waswāsil-khannās. Alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūrin-nās. Minal-jinnati wan-nās.

Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there any equivalent to Him. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers into the breasts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ

Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā, wa bika amsaynā, wa bika naḥyā, wa bika namūtu, wa ilayka al-nushūr

O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the Resurrection.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Allāhumma anta rabbī lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa anā ʿabduk, wa anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa waʿdika mastaṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abūʾu laka biniʿmatika ʿalay, wa abūʾu bidhanbī faghfir lī fa'innahu lā yaghfirudh-dhunūba illā ant.

O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship but You. You created me and I am Your slave. I keep Your covenant and my pledge to You so far as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessing upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. Forgive me, for there is none who may forgive sins but You.

اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِي سُوءًا أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ

Allāhumma ʿālimal-ghaybi wash-shahādati fāṭiras-samāwāti wal-arḍ rabba kulli shayʾin wa malīkah, ash-hadu an lā ilāha illā ant, aʿūdhu bika min sharri nafsī wa min sharrish-shayṭāni wa shirkih, wa an aqtarifa ʿalā nafsī sūʾan aw ajurrahu ilā muslim.

O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the evident, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, from the evil of Satan and his helpers, and from committing evil against myself or bringing it upon a Muslim.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

Bismillāhi 'l-ladhī lā yaḍurru maʿa-smihi shayʾun fil-arḍi wa lā fis-samāʾ wa huwas-samīʿul-ʿalīm.

In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing in the earth or the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا

Raḍītu billāhi rabban, wa bil-islāmi dīnan, wa bi-muḥammadin ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallama nabiyyan.

I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ

Allāhumma innī aṣbaḥtu ush-hiduka wa ush-hidu ḥamalata ʿarshik wa malāʾikatak wa jamīʿa khalqik annaka antallāhu lā ilāha illā ant waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, wa anna muḥammadan ʿabduka wa rasūluk.

O Allah, I have reached the morning calling You, the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation to bear witness that You are Allah, there is none worthy of worship but You alone, without partner, and that Muhammad is Your slave and Messenger.

اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ

Allāhumma mā aṣbaha bī min niʿmatin aw bi-aḥadin min khalqika fa-minka waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, falakal-ḥamdu wa lakaš-šukr.

O Allah, whatever blessing has been received by me or anyone of Your creation this morning is from You alone, You have no partner. All praise is for You and thanks is to You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي

Allāhumma innī asʾalukal-ʿāfiyata fid-dunyā wal-ākhirah. Allāhumma innī asʾalukal-ʿafwa wal-ʿāfiyata fī dīnī wa dunyāya wa ahlī wa mālī. Allāhummastur ʿawrātī, wa āmin rawʿātī. Allāhummaḥfaẓnī min bayni yadayya wa min khalfī, wa ʿan yamīnī wa ʿan shimālī wa min fawqī, wa aʿūdhu biʿaẓamatika an ughtāla min taḥtī.

O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, guard me from in front of me and behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your Greatness from being struck down from beneath me.
